Introduction Statement
I’ve worked with students in creative writing, writing for publication, composition, literature, and technical writing classes and have been an
editor for literary magazines and the University of Indianapolis Press. I enjoy integrating technology with writing classes and preparing students to write in a variety of rhetorical situations.
My poetry has appeared in Wordgathering, Disability Studies Quarterly, Disabled World, and other literary magazines. In a forthcoming chapbook, Hit the Ground, I
explore my experiences with a spinal injury that dramatically changed my world—in the time it took to hit the ground.
