Nutrition Assessment Lab

Get a jump start on your health today by dropping into the Nutrition Assessment Lab. The nutrition assessment lab offers:

  • Body Fat Analysis
  • Blood Pressure
  • Dietary Analysis
  • Bone Density Analysis
  • Nutrition Counseling
  • Nutrition Education Classes

The Nutrition Assessment Laboratory is staffed by Dietetics students and supervised by Nutrition faculty in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. This lab, funded by The Lilly Foundation, was established to help the Ball State community assess their nutrition-related health habits and behaviors and to assist them in making healthier food choices. The lab provides a superior supervised immersive learning experience for our dietetics students. Supervised lab assistants are available during the open lab hours or by appointment Monday through Friday.

Spring 2014 Semester hours:

Monday: 12 pm -  4 pm (AT 162)   

Tuesday: 9 am - 1 pm ( Rec Center)   

Wednesday: 12 pm - 4 pm (AT 162)   

Thursday: 9 am - 1 pm (Rec Center)  

Friday: 9 am - 1 pm (AT 162)‚Äč

These times are available for drop in or appointment. Other times available by appointment only.
Sessions are free of charge. For appointments outside of drop-in hours please call 765-285-4846.
