Master's Degree

Our master’s degree program focuses on two areas, applied atmospheric science and geographic information processing.

We also offer a graduate minor in geographic information science (GIS).

The programs have been designed to meet your needs and interests, but you will be cross-trained to broaden your skills.

Applied atmospheric science covers several topics in climatology and climate variability, weather analysis and forecasting, and geospatial techniques. Geographic information processing features intensive studies in cartography, remote sensing, and geographical information systems.

At Ball State, you'll benefit from small class sizes, opportunities for research, and state-of-the art technologies.
