Undergrad Research Opportunities
Our research opportunities give you the chance to work with a faculty mentor, doing scientific work on cutting-edge topics in the geosciences.

Much of this research begins with outdoor work near Muncie, elsewhere in the U.S., or even overseas. For example, our students are currently doing research related to the performance of the Ball State geothermal project, deep earth history in Texas, coal fires and water quality in Pennsylvania, and volcanic deposits in
New Caledonia and
New Zealand.
