The Department of History follows the standard admission requirements set by the university and does not require a supplemental application. The university's Office of Admissions can help you navigate the process. Admission's Criteria include the strength of your high school curriculum, high school GPA, SAT or ACT scores, and participation in extracurricular activities.
If you're interested the university's honors program, the Honors College will have the information you need to apply, and you can learn about its benefits and resources. The Honors College has its own admissions criteria and requires a supplemental application. The Ball State Honors College gives students the opportunity to take special courses and complete a capstone project that will be archived in Ball State's Cardinal Scholar database.
