Small Classes

In our department, we know you by name, not by your student ID number. Once you finish your core courses, you will find that our classes are smaller to meet the needs of all students.

Typical class sizes are 25 to 30 students at the 300 level. Unlike some schools, you are not sitting in a large lecture hall, but an intimate setting where you can be seen and heard. And you will be taught by our professors, not graduate assistants.
