This scholarship was established in the fall of 2000 by Morton Rosenberg, Professor Emeritus of History and his wife, Linda Rosenberg, a Ball State graduate. Linda received her BS in Speech and Theatre in 1967 and MA in History in 1973. The Rosenberg's have five children, three of whom are Ball State graduates.
The Morton and Linda Rosenberg Scholarship is available to undergraduate students who are majoring either in history or social studies education.
They must also meet the following requirement:
- Sophomore, junior, or senior academic standing
- GPA between 2.75 and 3.25
- First preference will be given to students who are engaged in extracurricular activities such as student government and volunteer work in the community
Application forms are available online now. Students must submit the completed application and two letters of recommendation.
