Examples of Internships

The Career Center offers numerous resources for locating internship opportunities, including the maintenance of a reference collection of published materials and a Web site with current position postings. Qualified graduate and undergraduate students may participate in internships locally, regionally, nationally, or even internationally. In return, both large and small organizations and agencies benefit by accepting intern placements through Ball State's experiential education program.

"I was a student in [the] public history class in the spring...In that class I wrote my career paper about museum education. In November I started working as just that, a museum educator...[T]he contacts that I made writing my paper...led to me getting this job. Thanks!" -Troy Guthrie
