Honors College students must select one of the following three courses to fulfill part of the University Core Curriculum science requirement:
These classes emphasize the relationships of the sciences to human concerns and society, including social and ethical consequences of scientific discovery and the application of science to issues confronting contemporary society.The physical sciences course is taught by faculty from astronomy, chemistry, or physics. The earth sciences course is taught by faculty from geography, geology, or natural resources and environmental management. The life sciences course is taught by faculty from biology or health sciences.
