Submitting Your Final Thesis

After it has been approved and signed by your advisor, your completed thesis or the written component of your creative project should be submitted to the Honors College in a firm, black binder. Prepare your binder according to the following guidelines:

  • The front of the binder should be labeled with the title of the thesis/creative project and your name.
  • Your submission should include a title page, abstract, and acknowledgments (if any).
  • If you include slides, disks, tapes, and/or CDs with your project, place them in a secure pocket inside the binder.
  • The copy of the thesis/creative project submitted to the Honors College should be an unmarked original or a professional copy, free of errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Your advisor or the Honors College may ask you to retype pages that need correction. Projects that are handwritten rather than typed will not be accepted unless you have received permission in advance.

Don't forget to have your thesis advisor review and sign the submission check-list and don't forget the "Permission to Send to Brackern Library" form. These are included in your Thesis Guide.
