Ball State offers competitive tuition rates and is the nation's first and only certified master's program in public relations.
Basic tuition for online and main-campus study is the same, but on-campus study requires additional fees for student services, health, recreation, and housing.
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships provides assistance with finding aid to be used for tuition, fees, and textbooks.
Main-campus students may also qualify for graduate assistantships. Assistantships may be available in the Department of Journalism or other areas throughout Ball State. Some assistantships are posted with Ball State's Career Center.
Assistantships provide a tuition waiver and a modest stipend. In addition to a full load of classes, graduate assistants work 10 to 20 hours each week on a variety of assignments. Fill out our assistantship application (PDF), print it out at home, and send the completed form to the Department of Journalism.
