Journalism Writing Center

The Journalism Writing Center (JWC) offers free assistance to department students. You can receive help on your papers, projects, or anything else you want to get another pair of eyes on.

The writing coaches at the JWC are proficient in helping with all grammar, punctuation, and style issues. They can also assist with larger editing concerns, such as structure and clarity.

Along with work on class assignments, the JWC offers assistance to students on the Language Usage Proficiency Examination (LUPE), which takes place near the middle of the fall semester.
