Physical Education and Sport Graduate Programs:
The physical education and sport graduate programs are housed in The School of Kinesiology at the Health and Physical Activity Building.
Graduate degrees offered in physical education and sport are a master of arts and a master of science. Students complete a specialization in one of the following areas: coaching, sport administration, and sport and exercise psychology.

Wellness Management Graduate
The wellness management graduate programs are housed in The School of Kinesiology at the Health and Physical Activity
of only a few programs in the country that combines wellness (major) and
business (minor) degrees, the wellness management program continues to fill a
niche in the educational spectrum.

internship, a research option, 12 hours of elective courses, and a 12 credit-hour
business minor (for those coming in without a business background).
Applied Gerontology Graduate
The applied gerontology graduate programs are housed in The School of Kinesiology at the Health and Physical Activity
program has been recognized by the Association for Gerontology in Higher
Education for offering the most comprehensive graduate gerontology program in
offerings in applied gerontology include a master of arts degree and a certificate
in gerontology. For the degree, students complete 15 credit hours of core
courses, a three credit-hour research methods course, and 18 hours of elective
courses. For the certificate, students complete nine credit hours of core
courses and nine credit hours of electives.
