BSU student Christian Cruze and Kathryn G.  Shafer recently presented "Technology in the Mathematics Classroom:  A Teacher Candidate's Perspective" at the 22nd Conference of the Society for International Technology and Teacher Education in Nashville, Tennessee.

BSU student Aaron C. Bruewer and Kathryn G. Shafer recently presented "Video Game Design Principles in Logo Impact Teacher Candidates' Technology Integration" at the 22nd Conference of the Society for International Technology and Teacher Education in Nashville, Tennessee.

BSU 2010 graduate Mark Augustyn and Dr. Kathryn G. Shafer presented "3-D Modeling with Google SketchUp," at the Annual Meeting of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

BSU 2010 graduate Paula L. Keesling and Dr. Annette Ricks Leitze presented "Steers Need Hay for the Winter:  Engaging Students with Engaging Problems," at the Annual Meeting of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and at the ICTM Conference in Indianapolis, IN.

Seventeen Graduate Students and Dr. Annette Ricks Leitze presented "Raise Your Students' Problem-Solving Skills" at the Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference in Indianapolis, IN.

Former BSU Student, Mark Pinkerton and current BSU Student, Angela Greene, along with Dr. Kathryn G. Shafer presented a series of webinars for Key Curriculum Press.  Titles included "Mean Absolute Deviation," "Scatterplots & Rate of Change," and "Formulas and Proportional Relationships."
