If you are entering your senior year and are an actuarial science major with a grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.4 in actuarial science courses and an overall GPA of at least 3.0, you can request an application for the D.W. Simpson scholarship from an actuarial science faculty member or obtain one in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, available in early spring.

D.W. Simpson & Co. offers one $1,000 scholarship each year. To qualify, you’ll also need credit for at least one actuarial exam, and you’ll need to be eligible to work in the United States.
