Annual Career Fair

Every year during the Fall Semester, we bring in 34 to 40 companies to interview and recruit our students.

The success rate for hiring of our students has been phenomenal! Almost 100 percent of actuarial science graduates are placed after graduation. Many of them have had multiple offers, with one student boasting a whopping 18!

Both actuarial science and risk management and insurance students have found some success with internships. Although an internship is not required in either curriculum, we encourage our students to get as much hands-on training as they can.

In addition to the career fair, students are exposed to what we call an in-residence program. We bring in someone from the business world to lecture to students in both programs, and the guest also meets with faculty.
