Like other graduate course work in the Miller College of Business, the graduate certificate in business is geared to fit into your life, whatever that might be. Classes typically meet once a week on Thursday evenings. They’re offered on-campus as well as via live, interactive, Internet-based video streaming, which means you can be a student no matter where you’re living and working.
You can get through the program in a short two to three semesters. That’s not a lot of time to spend on something that could have a big impact on your career. The certificate program can expand your academic background in ways that might help you advance into more managerial responsibilities. If you’re a nurse, it can help you move toward nursing management. If you’re a journalist, you can prepare yourself for responsibilities on the business side. If you’re an architect, the program can fill in the gaps with knowledge you might need as a partner at your firm.
