Earning an MBA on Your Schedule

What’s your life situation? Just finishing up an undergraduate degree and hoping to add a master of business administration (MBA) to boost your career prospects? Already working but ready to move ahead through education? Living in or near Muncie or hundreds of miles away?

It doesn’t matter because the MBA program at Ball State can accommodate your situation. Earn an MBA in a year by attending class full time. Opt for part-time studies and you can be done in two years.

Either way, you can study on campus, in a comfortable classroom, or participate from the comfort of your home via Internet-based distance learning. Any way you choose, you’ll receive the same, high-quality MBA education.

Classes generally are offered in the evenings, and each class typically meets one night a week. If you’re on-campus, your instructor will be right there in the front of the classroom.

If you’re elsewhere studying via the Internet, your instructor and your classmates will be right there on your computer screen, and you’ll be able to participate because it’s taking place live via fully interactive technology.

Delivering course work this way is nothing new for Ball State, which began using distance learning in the 1980s, when classes were delivered via closed-circuit television. It opens up the MBA program to students all over Indiana, and in fact, in other states as well (even the iciest reaches of Minnesota).

Yes, you still have to get to class on time, but getting there might just mean walking from the dinner table to the den.
