Profile Nazim U. Ahmed is a professor of operation management. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and master's degree in industrial engineering. He received his PhD in 1978 from Texas A&M University. His primary teaching areas are operations management and management information systems.
His research interests include total quality management, operations strategy, and environmental management and healthcare management. He has published many journal articles and more than forty articles in the proceedings of international, national and regional conferences. His articles have appeared in
