Associate Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management
Catherine Chen received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and her doctorate from the University of Minnesota. She has been teaching microcomputer applications, business information systems, and computer networking courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has published many articles in referred journals and conferences proceedings, as well as conducted research training workshop. Chen received an Outstanding Teaching Applications Award in 1999 and a Best Paper Award in 2000. Currently, her primary research interests are in pedagogical issues of information systems education, computer networking, e-commerce, and outsourcing.
