Choose this track to receive preparation for a life in business, including finance, management, or marketing. It’s also a foundation for a master of business administration (MBA).

In addition to the economics courses for the business economics option, the students are required to meet the Miller College of Business core requirements and take required business courses. You can look up the complete course requirements, economics course descriptions, and business core requirements in the Undergraduate Course Catalog. We strongly recommend that all economics majors take at least one course in calculus.

You’ll need a minimum of 120 credit hours for graduation. See all the requirements for baccalaureate degrees and the University Core Curriculum from the Undergraduate Course Catalog.
