You might think that teaching and research are completely separate and distinct activities. Actually, they are deeply interrelated. Research stimulates critical reasoning and analysis. It creates knowledge and a deeper understanding of the discipline by seeking to explore unanswered questions and extend knowledge in a discipline.
And the results of this entire process end up in the classroom and in academic, practitioner, and business journals.
