The faculty of the Miller College of Business give you the resources to
make connections between classroom theory and real-world
implementation. Our classes are small, so you won’t feel like you’re getting lost in the
shuffle. On average, we have 15 to 20 students in class.
Internships are a great way to begin building a strong business network
and to receive valuable field experience. Our program will help find local and
regional companies and provide all of the resources necessary for you to
impress recruiters and hiring managers. We also offer immersive learning opportunities. Before you
graduate, you can apply what you've learned in the classroom to finding
a real-world solution to a real-world problem. You can make a
difference for a business or community partner.
The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management also provides great resources and facilities. Our Network and Security Lab houses
more than 20 computer work stations connected to at least eight servers,
running four major operating environments. This give you an
extraordinary learning opportunity to assemble and disassemble your own
computer networks, conduct security analysis exercises, and participate
in innovative information assurance education. You also may get the
chance to work in one of our labs as a lab assistant.
