Accounting Club
Purpose The Ball State Accounting Club helps accounting majors and potential accounting majors get information about available career opportunities. Practitioners from different accounting career areas speak to our club members.
ActivitiesMeetings are informal and typically consist of the speaker's presentation. Topics have included such things as services provided by the Ball State Career Center, campus interviews, office visits, balancing personal life and career, and career opportunities in government accounting, not-for-profit accounting, public accounting, banking, and manufacturing. Meeting dates and topics are announced in accounting classes and posted in the Whitinger Building.
EligibilityThe club is open to any major. You must attend three meetings per year, and membership dues are required.
History
Ball State University Accounting Club was started in 1968.
