Internship Program

Economics students, and other business majors, have an opportunity to gain valuable experience through for-credit internships. Now more than ever, employers expect graduating seniors to have relevant work experience on their resumes.

The Miller College of Business internship program will improve your understanding of the nature of business, give you an opportunity to work in an environment related to your major, increase your confidence, and help you determine potential careers.

If you are approved for an internship, it will be your responsibility to find an employer. The employer will make the internship offer directly to you (with a written notice to the internship coordinator), and you must accept or decline the internship offer in writing (with a copy to the internship coordinator).

Employers also benefit. Participating firms have an opportunity to work with Ball State in the educational process and to view prospective employees in an environment that can aid the firm's recruiting efforts.
