Sample Schedules and Required Courses

Here’s a quick look at what’s required for a risk management and insurance major.

You’ll need 126 hours total (see all the requirements for bachelor of arts degrees and the University Core Curriculum), including the concentration areas listed below.

You'll start out as a pre-business major and apply to the risk management and insurance program. Advisers will help you review your options.

In addition to the Miller College of Business core requirements, you'll also take required courses for the risk management and insurance major.
