Information Systems Major

Land a job within an organization’s information systems operation, and you will be responsible for computers and computer-based products, processing information into formats that can be communicated, and serving up the data used by management in decision-making.

It’s a fast-growing and quick-paced career characterized by constant improvements in hardware, software, and procedures—not to mention general salaries.

At Ball State, you’ll benefit from constantly updated curriculum, access to leading-edge technology, and the chance to collaborate with faculty mentors on research and other innovative, hands-on projects with real-world applications, such as the Cluster Computing Research Project.
