You can do anything from helping a retail chain open new stores to raising awareness about water pollution. 

And you can make a difference for Indiana communities. Through Building Better Communities, student teams

  • developed a marketing plan for the nine-county region around Fort Wayne
  • worked with a young Indianapolis firm that helps fast-growth companies boost their sales and acquire large accounts

You can also learn about  marketing and sales through competitions.

Our students have consistently done well in the Business Strategy Game. 2007 was the third consecutive year that our marketing students placed in the top 25 of the Business Strategy Game. Among 2,656 teams, our two teams ranked 15th and 16th in overall performance.

Sales competitions will give you a chance to test your pitch—even to business professionals. Recruiters tell us our students are six to 18 months ahead of their peers.

Plus, we offer one of only nine sales programs accredited by the Professional Society for Sales and Marketing Training. Our nationally recognized H.H. Gregg Center for Professional Selling will give you hands-on experience, the nation’s largest sales job fair, and more.
