Miller College of Business honored its alumni at the annual award dinner on Friday, October 5, 2012.

Ball State’s Miller College of Business honored its alumni at the annual award dinner on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Alumni Center.. Eight outstanding alumni were  honored at this year’s dinner.

Larry W. Metzing, who earned his Bachelor's of Science in Accounting in 1970, is this year’s Hall of Fame inductee. He is a Senior Partner at Sunbelt Indiana Business Resources, Indianapolis, IN.

Awards of Distinction:

• Mr. Mike Bauer, Bachelor's degree, marketing, 1969, Chairman of the Board for Auctor Corporation, Indianapolis, IN.
• Mr. Steve Riddle, Bachelor's degree, accounting, 1980, Principal of Somerset CPAs, P.C., Indianapolis, IN. 
• Mr. Robert Shipley, Bachelor's degree, marketing, 1975, President & CEO of Hartz Mountain Corp. Secaucus, NJ.

Awards of Achievement:

• Mr. Peter Fellegy, Master's degree, business administration, 1978, Vice President of Business Development for Fortune Wireless, Inc. Indianapolis, IN.
• Ms. Tina Pierce, Bachelor's degree, finance, 1987, Vice President & CFO of Honeywell UOP, Des Plaines, IL
• Mr. Richard Poppa, Bachelor's degree, political science, 1974, President & CEO of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers, Dewitt, NY.
• Mr. Jeff Rodewald, Bachelor's degree, business administration, 1976, Vice President of USG Corporation, Chicago, IL.
