In 1994, Jim Stratman founded Enviroplas, Inc., which provides engineering resin solutions to customers worldwide. Much of the company's business involves working with engineering grade thermoplastics, supported by a full-service quality control/research and development laboratory.
A member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and Ball State's Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, Stratman has received many awards from the university and the Miller College of Business, including the Scholar Athlete Award, the Emerging Entrepreneur Award, and the Graduate of the Last Decade Award.
Stratman is involved in and supports numerous community and philanthropic organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the March of Dimes, the GE Good Neighbor Fund, and the Evansville Catholic Interparochial Schools.
