Impressions of Ball State/Miller College/Miller Honors: I really love both Ball State and the Honors Program. Ball State is a great size and is full of wonderful people. The Honors Program has been an integral part of my time at Ball State. I have been given numerous opportunities for networking, internships, and overall cool experiences because of my involvement with the program.

Why would you recommend BSU/MCOB Honors Program to other students: I would definitely recommend both Ball State and the MCOB Honors Program to other students. With the Program, it is great to be able to take classes that have a differentiated curriculum with peers that you get to know very quickly. You also get a great balance of academic and social experiences with study abroad opportunities, internships, professional development workshops, and even a trip to Disney World!

Study Abroad Plans or Trips Taken: After the spring semester of my sophomore year (Spring 2014), I went on the Program's study abroad trip to Germany (Frankfurt and Munich) and Ireland (Dublin).

Interesting fact about me: Lima beans are one of my favorite foods.

Interesting fact about me: One time, my friends and I sent a silly letter to Olive Garden telling them how much we love their food, and they sent us back a $100 gift card!

The MCOB Honors program has exposed me to many networking and professional development opportunities early on that I would not have been exposed to otherwise.

The personalized touch this program gives you is more than worth the extra effort it takes to be an outstanding student within your cohort.

Study Abroad Plans or Trips Taken: I studied abroad during the summer of 2014 in Madrid, Spain. I had an internship in Madrid with a public speaker's agency called Thinking Heads.

Impressions of BSU/Miller College/Honors Program: Choosing to attend BSU for the Miller Honors Program was the best decision I could have made for myself as a senior in High School. It built an immediate strong cohort for me to grow and learn with, as well as consistently challenged me through the advanced course curriculum.

Why you would recommend BSU/MCOB Honors Program to other students: I recommend the honors program because it has created a family for me here at college, while still challenging me academically and encouraging me to pursue my lofty dreams and aspirations.

Impressions of BSU/Miller College/Honors Program: Overall, I'm really glad I chose to go to Ball State and be involved in the Honors Program. Being in the Honors Program helped me get to know other business majors and meet some pretty cool professors earlier than I otherwise might have. The workshops and general help that we got with choosing what we wanted to do and planning our classes was also extremely useful.

Why you would recommend BSU/MCOB Honors Program to other students: It is a great way to get to know other students like yourself and you also get to go to Disney World as a senior.

Interesting fact about me: I was on a competitive jump rope team for 6 years in my younger days.

Impressions of BSU/Miller College/Honors Program: You truly do get out what you put in. This program gives you incredible opportunities, but it is up to you to take advantage of them. This includes closer relationships with faculty, a strong network or upper classmen and alumni, and the workshops and seminars we are required and invited to attend. Those that take advantage of these opportunities leave college far better prepared than the average student and have a much more positive experience in the program and at BSU overall.

Why you would recommend BSU/MCOB Honors Program to other students: This program is for those students that consistently go above and beyond with a passion for knowledge and growth. If this describes a student, this is absolutely the best program for them. This program provides the skills and guidance business students need to propel themselves far ahead of the average business student while also allowing them to forge lifelong relationships with professionals and peers alike.

Interesting fact about me: I spend most of my free time playing Magic the Gathering, playing video games, or reading on my Kindle....basically, I'm a huge nerd.

Impressions of BSU/Miller College/Honors Program: I believe that the Miller Honors Program is one of the best and most reputable programs available to college students.

Why you would recommend BSU/MCOB Honors Program to other students: The Honors Program offers opportunities to individuals that they most likely would not have had otherwise. I was able to study abroad, obtain an internship, and eventually accept a full-time offer from one of the most recognized accounting firms through my participation in the Honors Program. It provides students with the tools they need to further grow as a person and a professional. My journey through the Honors Program is not one that I will ever forget. It has taught me the skills to begin my accounting career and has given me some of my best friends. I only hope that I can one day give as much back as I have received.

Study Abroad Plans or Trips Taken: I have taken a two week study abroad trip to Germany and Ireland.

Interesting fact about me: I had a double bunion surgery.

Impressions of BSU/Miller College/Honors Program: The Miller College of Business has provided me with a network of successful professionals that I will be able to use to my advantage for years to come. I not only have been taught the technical skills that I will need to succeed, but also the personal skills needed as well. The Honors Program has been wonderful. Through the program, I have made numerous friendships and connections that will last a lifetime. Being surrounded by people with similar goals and drives has made me a better student.

Why you would recommend BSU/MCOB Honors Program to other students: BSU really is a home away from home. It is a campus of 22,000+ students, but I feel like I see familiar faces everyday. The professors are more than just instructors; they have a genuine interest in your future plans and want to help you succeed. The Miller of College of Business provides all of the resources and connections needed to succeed in both college and your career. I graduate in only a few months, and though I am nervous a little bit, I know that I will do just fine because MCOB as prepared me.

Study Abroad Plans or Trips Taken: Summer 2013: Bregenz, Austria. During my time abroad, I traveled to southern Germany, northern Italy, and Paris. I took two classes; intro to German and international business management. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend studying abroad. Without the financial assistance through the Honors Program, I would not have been able to study abroad.
