Braham Dembar is principal percussion for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with several other notable orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Boston Symphony, and Boston Pops. Prior to his appointment with the ISO he served 20 years as principal percussion for the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic. He holds percussion performance degrees from the New England Conservatory (MM) and Boston University (BM), and has previously served in similar teaching positions at both Marian University and IPFW.
