The Benefic Chamber Music Camp provides an intensive learning experience designed to enhance chamber music and collaborative skills of string, wind, horn, and piano students from high school through the first years of college.
Students learn from artists and teachers of international renown with extensive experience and expertise as educators, chamber musicians, and members of major symphony orchestras. Camp instructors include faculty and members of:
- Ball State University
- University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music
- Indiana University
- Michigan State University
- Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra
- Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra
- Fort Wayne Philharmonic
The camp is held in the Music Instruction Building, featuring elite instructional facilities and the state-of-the-art Sursa Performance Hall.
The application fee is waived for students applying before March 15, and reduced tuition is offered to students applying before May 15. Limited scholarships are available as well as discounts for already formed groups and siblings.
