DaCamera Brass Quintet

Organized in 1968, the DaCamera brass ensemble, in residence on the Ball State University campus, specializes in chamber music for brass instruments. Quintet repertoire includes music spanning the period from the Renaissance to the present, from madrigals and French folk songs to works written in the jazz idiom and in the new musical styles of the past two decades. Current quintet members are Paul Everett, trumpet; Larry Powell, trumpet; Gene Berger, French horn; John Seidel, trombone; and Matthew Lyon, tuba. In addition to appearances on the School of Music's Faculty Artist Series, the quintet performs concerts on other college campuses and in the public schools in Indiana and surrounding states, in formal recitals, educational concerts, and performance clinics.
