Studio Nine
Studio nine is the main computer music lab in the suite. Its eleven workstations are filled with software to create, notate, and manipulate music. Each workstation has a MIDI keyboard controller, mixer, MIDI interface, and audio interface. Five of the workstations have Kurzweil K2600 synthesizers. Additional MIDI controller are available. Software includes Cycling 74's MAX/MSP, MOTU's Digital Performer, Bias' Peak/JAM, Native Instruments' Kontakt, Propellerhead's Reason, Applied Acsoustic Systems' Tassman, Garritan's Personal Orchestra, Waves' Native Power Pack, Making Music's Finale, Cecilia, Soundhack, and Thonk.
