Park and Recreation Management

Increased leisure time and the desire of many people to participate in a variety of outdoor experiences have created the need for professionally-trained personnel in outdoor recreation. This sequence provides students with basic understandings, attitudes, and skills that are needed to qualify for park and outdoor recreation management positions available in federal, state, county and local systems and in private outdoor recreation enterprises.
