Students pursuing a master of arts (MA) or master of science (MS) in natural resources and environmental management must complete 30 credit hours of coursework. Most students complete the program in two years. There is only one required course for both groups: 

  • NREM 608 - Research Methods.

Research Requirements

MA students must take one of the following:

  • CRPR 698 - Creative Project
  • RES 697 - Research Paper

MS students must take:

  • THES 698 - Thesis
