Your classroom learning in the School of Nursing will be rigorous and informative, whether it’s in-person or online, and your clinical experience will be incredibly valuable. Beyond that, there are fantastic opportunities to network with other nursing students and professionals, further your real-world understanding, and enrich your experience as a nursing student.
If you’re studying on campus, give strong consideration to joining the Nursing Living-Learning Community. You’ll not only live among peers in the nursing program, but you’ll also be hooked into special opportunities, including speakers, health care tours, and more chances to get to know professionals and professors alike.
Join the Beta Rho chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and you’ll connect with more than 130,000 active members nationally in the pursuit of learning, knowledge, and professional development. More networking and learning opportunities are open to members of the Ball State Student Nurses’ Association, which includes nursing and pre-nursing majors. And when your studies are done, keep in touch as a member of the Nursing Alumni Society.
