Keller graduated from Ball State University with a degree in nursing and went on to work for Methodist Hospital as a nurse, patient care manager, clinical manager/shift coordinator and finally, director of perioperative performance.

While receiving her MBA from Butler University, Keller began working at OrthoIndy as the executive director/nursing director of the surgery centers. She was promoted to the chief nursing officer at the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital (IOH) in 2005 and became the hospital's chief executive officer (CEO) in 2006.

As the CEO of IOH, Keller works with the board of managers to create and implement the hospital's strategic plan and develops and maintains a positive image of the hospital. She serves as the Development Chair for Indiana's Arthritis Foundation and is an active member of the board of directors.
