English as a New Language License
Your first step in taking program courses is to apply and meet the admission requirements of the Ball State Graduate School.
You must select an educational objective on the admission application. Below are two common types that may apply to you:
- Degree Seeking: Official transcripts from all institutions attended beyond high school are required. Also, an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Learn more about master's admissions.
- Licensure Status: Often teachers who need to complete one or two courses to renew their teaching license select the nondegree licensure status. If you have questions about licensing requirements, contact Office of Teacher Education Services at 1-800-382-8540. Contact the Graduate School for additional information about the application process.
Students from Other States
Ball State is authorized to accept online students from all U.S. states. Certain conditions may apply depending on what regulations your state has and what degree you are seeking. Learn more about state authorization for non-Indiana students.
