BACB Certified - Logo

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. has verified the course sequence presented here as meeting the required coursework for eligibility to take the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst Examination (BCaBA).

Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify.

You may be working in a field that’s unrelated to ABA but seriously considering a career change. Even if your bachelor's degree is in a different field, you can still pursue this certificate to sit for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) exam. You will also need to fulfill the 1,000 hours of supervised field experience required to become a BCaBA.

A career in applied behavior analysis (ABA) provides you with the personal and financial rewards of assisting children, adolescents, or adults who struggle with autism spectrum disorder or other learning disabilities. As a professional in this field, you will have the opportunity to teach your clients positive behaviors in settings such as schools, treatment centers, and businesses.
