Undergraduate Students If you are transferring from an Indiana college or university, Transfer Indiana has the most comprehensive information from approximately 40 Indiana colleges and universities so you can check if credits you earned at another state institution will transfer to Ball State.
If you are transferring from an out-of-state institution, additional information about transfer credit or out-of-state transfers need to be discussed with your academic advisor. If you have not been assigned an advisor yet, then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-800-872-0369 with your specific transfer questions. If you are pursuing a bachelor's degree from Ball State, at least 30 of the last 40 credit hours you earn must be from Ball State. For an associate degree, you must complete at least 15 of the last 20 credit hours from Ball State. If you wish to apply to Ball State, follow the instructions for undergraduate students. Graduate Students If you are a graduate student seeking to transfer graduate credit, you will need to speak with your program’s academic advisor. Every graduate program is different and may or may not accept transfer credit. If you want to get your application started, follow the instructions for graduate students.
