If you want to keep up on new trends in your field or network with
other professionals, the Fishers Center is a great place to start. Through
convenient workshops and seminars, we provide working professionals the
opportunity to learn skills, have fun, and meet new people. These convenient
classes are open to everyone, do not require university admission, and do not
count toward academic credit.
Certified Public Managers Program
When: Second Tuesday of each month. Begins March 11, 2014. Ends February 10, 2015.
Time: Full-day sessions. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m
Cost: Phase I "Supervisory Training" -- $1,595. Phase II "Managerial Training" -- $2,495.
Scholarships are available from time to time that may reduce the cost of training for eligible applicants.
The Bowen Center for Public Affairs exclusively offers the Indiana Certified Public Manager Program. This is a unique training opportunity for Indiana public managers and their supervisory personnel. The program provides government and nonprofit employees with the comprehensive knowledge of public management theories and best practices, while also training public managers how to apply these theories in public service.
