College Transition Program

Dropping or Withdrawing from a Class

  • To drop a class, you need to contact your parent or guardian and high school guidance counselor.
  • Next, contact Nancy Day, Ball State's dual credit coordinator, to request to be removed from the course. Make sure you send to her via e-mail the following: your name, your high school's name, and name and number of the course you no longer want to take (for example, MATH 161: Applied Calculus 1).

If you do not contact Mrs. Day, you will be continued to be billed and liable for the course tuition and additional fees. Within a week you should receive in your Ball State e-mail verification that your drop or withdrawal has been completed.

All withdrawals need to be requested by the end of the 11th week of class.
