College Transition Program

Tuition Assistance for Dual Credit

For Students Who Qualify for Free or Reduced-Costs Lunches
Costs for any dual credit courses are waived for students who receive free or reduced-price lunches. To qualify for this waiver, ask someone at your high school to send documentation to Program Coordinator Nancy Day.

Reimbursements from a Parent's Workplace
As an employee benefit, some companies and organizations provide reimbursements to employees if they or a family member successfully completes college courses. Ask your parents to check with their employers. You may find they provide some reimbursement of your dual credit tuition.

Ball State Fee Remission
If you have a parent or legal guardian who works at Ball State, you are eligible for fee remission for dual credit courses, which means a part of your cost is eligible to be waived. Your parent will need to fill out the fee remission form. For more information about this benefit, you may also contact Human Resource Services.
