Required Courses:
All are offered online, unless otherwise noted.  If you are an online-only student and a course is not offered online, your advisor will work with you to substitute an online course that best fit your needs. 

  • EDAC 631 Adult and Community Education (3 credit hours)
  • EDAC 632 Organizing Adult and Community Education Programs (3 credit hours, offered on-site at our main campus or at a Ball State center in the greater Indianapolis area; a substitution may be allowed for online-only students)
  • EDAC 634 The Adult as a Learner (3 credit hours)
  • EDAC 635 Strategies for Teaching Adults (3 credit hours)
  • EDAC 638 Program Planning in Community and Adult Education (3 credit hours, offered on-site at our main campus or at a Ball State center in the in the greater Indianapolis area; a substitution may be allowed for online-only students)
  • EDAC 648 The Community Educator (3 credit hours)
