Master of Arts in Educational Psychology

A master of arts in educational psychology is an important step in your career education.

If you currently are practicing school personnel, you may complete the degree as you pursue professional licensure. This degree will also prepare you to pursue doctoral degrees in education or psychology.

The general degree is a 30-hour program that includes 18 hours of required courses and 12 hours of electives. Currently there are three recommended specializations: gifted and talented education (also see high ability license), human development, and statistical and research methods. Students may design a program of study that meets their individual needs.

Mode of Delivery
This program is offered online or on our main campus in Muncie, Indiana, except for the gifted and talented specialization which is available only online. You may also design a course of study that is a blend of online and main campus.

With the exception of one optional course, all core courses are offered online. However, online availability of electives varies, but you can develop a program of study that is fully available online. Learn more about the courses you will take.
