Fast-Track for Students with a Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (33 Credit Hours)

You may start this program at any semester. However, please note EDPSY 641 (Statistical Methods) is prerequisite for FCS 697 (Research Methods) and needs to be taken prior to taking this course.

FCID 606 Visual Culture in the Build Environment (3)
EDPS 641 Statistical Methods (3)

Spring 1
FCID 619 Environmental Psychology
FCID 613 Design Analysis (3)
FCS 697 Research Methods (3)

Summer 1

FCID 606 Visual Culture in the Build Environment (3)
Elective 1 (3)

Fall 2
2 Electives (6)
**THES 698 or RES 697 Thesis or Creative Project (3-6)

Elective Courses: (6-9 hours)

**THES is 6 credits, RES 697 is 3 credigs, and CRPR can be 3 or 6 credits. Students who sign up for a 6 credit need 6 hours of electives. Students who sign up for 3 hours will need 9 credits of electives.

Please have in mind that realistically it is impossible to complete a thesis or creative project with remaining program electives in one semester. Thus, it is more likely you will continue working on your thesis or project the spring of your second year if you follow this schedule.
