Plus, if you later decide to pursue an associate or bachelor's degree all of the courses in this program can apply.

You will be gaining knowledge in a field that is expanding. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, criminal justice careers are some of the fastest growing in the United States.

The certificate is taught by faculty in Ball State's Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. These professors are noted scholars in the field and have real-world work experience in criminal justice. The department was one of the first programs in the United States to be accredited by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
