Mediasite Classes

Mediasite is a Web presentation technology that Ball State professors use to post videos, demos, or other kinds of multimedia presentations in an online course.

If your professor uses Mediasite, he or she will post links to presentations within Blackboard.

Mediasite provides you with control over the playback of a presentation. The "Slide List" option displays all slides used during a presentation, and you can search for a particular slide and restart the presentation from that point. While Mediasite presentations can be viewed live, the best quality occurs when you watch them later on-demand.

Check Your Connection: View a Sample Video

In order to view these presentations, you will need a high-speed Internet connection. To find out if your computer is capable of viewing an online Mediasite class, view a sample presentation that was recorded in Mediasite. Visit the system requirements page to make sure that your computer is capable of receiving the video streams.
